About Us
There are three important things you should know about us. First, we take our job personally. Clark at Home partners with you whether it's for just a few weeks following a surgery or perhaps a long-term engagement due to a chronic condition. We pride ourselves on creatively meeting your needs.
We understand that no two people are the same and that even an individual's needs may change over time. We have a staff with a variety of specialties and talents that will learn your personal preferences, and make a great team.
Finally, we measure our success by yours. When we work with you to meet your goals - whether they are rehabilitation measures or remaining safely in your home - we celebrate those achievements, too.
Clark At Home Staff
The ultimate litmus test we use when hiring a Clark at Home staff member is simple: would we want this individual caring for us or our parents? As you might conclude, we hire not only for skills, but also for personal character and positive attitudes.
Members of the Clark at Home team embody the Clark tradition of service excellence. All staff members undergo a rigorous evaluation process, including personal interviews, reference checks, criminal background screenings, and running their fingerprints through a national law enforcement data bank. All staff are bonded.
Clark at Home provides training for all staff members including specialized education about caring for someone with dementia. Our nurse Clinical Manager supervises each case to ensure your satisfaction.
For Clark at Home, it's not just about the services. It's also about the relationships that develop between our clients, their families and our staff.
Getting To Know You
We're only as far away as your phone. When you call 616-233-4142, you'll speak with a nurse about your needs. As part of our assessment, a nurse Clinical Manager will make a complimentary visit to your home.
We consider a trio of factors: your needs, our expertise, and your desires. First, we listen to your analysis of what you need. We'll make suggestions for you to consider, but it's your choice about how to proceed. At that point, we jointly develop a care plan.
We also work collaboratively with other community agencies. Recently a couple moved to town and needed health care services delivered to their home. But, they also wanted to learn about their new neighborhood and the Grand Rapids area. We not only helped with personal services. We connected them with other community agencies for an easier and more enjoyable transition to West Michigan.
